Sunday Morning 6AM β˜€οΈ in the Forest - And the Goal for the Coming Week 🎯
I want to start working even more on my resilience of the nervous system and my stress resilience in combination with breath work 🫁. So I ordered "The Plunge", a cold-tub with an automatic chiller.. So working towards this, I often now start my day with a cold shower right out of bed, just to get used to the idea to "Eat the frog" immediately early morning. Even though often it's really hard to set my mind into getting into a cold shower immediately after I woke up, But the feeling afterwards is amazing, and I always feel like the hardest part of the day is already over. πŸ’ͺ After the shower, I drank one coffee and I jumped in the car heading to the forest, I wanted to be there early because here the holiday season has already been started. The forest I go to is one of the most popular forests in the Czech Republic. I know some remote corners where nobody comes, but now I found this awesome spot (see video) and people might come there. I wanted to be there before other people were there. And I spent some time recording some content for YouTube πŸ“Ή So, 7 a.m. in the morning, I already did half the things I planned for myself to do today βœ… This is why I get up early and do the hardest things and the most important things in the morning right away. Now the rest of the day, some last iterations and adjustments to my core offer, then that's ready and I can send it back to my coach for review, and the rest of the day I will be just spending time reading a book, practicing some breath holds, maybe going for a walk, and just chill and preparing for the next week. For me, I am going to the Netherlands again for my daughter πŸ‡³πŸ‡± She has her last schoolday before the holiday and I promised to be there. With that, I have taken some days off so I have a lot of time to work on my business Wednesday till Friday. But what I also will focus on, is more guided breathwork content ideas and working them out. I have noticed that when I prepare really well, like a good solid script I can use to record my audio, that then when the preparation is good, that the recording is super easy and it saves me a lot of time. So I am going to brainstorm 4 content ideas in the coming week, so I have Ideas for content that I will record in September, as the content for August is already recordedπŸ’ͺ

For me it was literally making a good start of cutting the fluff out and focus more on healthy habits, so less tv, more reading, yoga and breathwork 🧘
The Proof That Breathwork Works 🫁
Yesterday I got really, really challenged, I was working, and I just saw a message popping up on my phone from somebody asking why I was leaving the community while I she was working one-on-one with me as a coach. This felt really strange because I didn't leave the community. So then she said, "Ok, then maybe you should have a look and change your password quickly." So I tried changing my password, you guessed it, "wrong current password". And I don't forget my passwords because I'm really strict with passwords, and I save them in a password manager. Then I went to my email, which was connected to my Skool, and wanted to change the password quickly. Once again, wrong current password.... And then it struck me. I thought, "Oh no, I've been hacked." While I was typing to this coach in Skool on the phone, I saw all messages double, which makes me believe that there was another person reading with us on another device.. Quickly, I was going through all my accounts, Facebook. Same story: unable to change the password because the current password is not correct. So this person was already in 3 of my accounts. But instead of flipping out, I stayed pretty calm, and I told myself, "Okay, this account is not connected to your bank account, so we're good for now. Let's solve this." So I told my employer that I need some time because of this private situation that I need to fix ASAP, and I used AI to help me guide through all the steps I needed to do, and somehow I was very lucky with my mailbox provider that I had a parent account so I could overwrite the password for my mailbox there, and after I locked this person out, I added two-factor authentication. And slowly but surely, I was able to recover all the other accounts. It took me four hours to get everything back to how it was. I always had strong passwords, but there is one thing I didn't do out of laziness, and that was two-factor authentication. Now everything is secured with two-factor authentication. The reason I'm telling this is because if this would have happened to me two years ago, I would have been completely out of my mind and panicked and whatever. 🀯 Now, yes, I felt adrenaline, and it was tense because it felt like a race against the clock, I stayed amazingly calm. Even my wife told me that she said you handled this so calmly and that she was proud of me. πŸ₯Ί

@Darren Mcclellan Yes! I can remember you told us a while ago! And I had exactly the same experience, stay calm and working through it step by step πŸ’ͺ And I see it as a lesson, that I have to use 2FA where I can, I have pretty strong passwords and none is the same for any platform... But I was logged in on all my devices without 2FA.. Everything happens for a reason I always say.. πŸ™

I have contacted the Skool admins, but they couldn't really help me, because nothing seemed suspicious, but that is very logical if someone has you password πŸ˜…. And police, mweh, I do respect and love the police, but here where I come from, they don't have time for these small cases, So I only would receive a letter after 2 months that they have other priorities and won't be continuing the case...πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Been there. done that. But thank you for your advice!

Technique Tuesday 🫁
The technique for this week is: Nadi Shodhana or "alternate nostril breathing" πŸ‘ƒ This is a perfect technique to calm the body and the mind down or when you need some focus or clarity. The technique is practiced by breathing through one nostril at the same time and then focus on the air coming in through your nostril and then passing your brain and follow it into the belly, trying to slow down the breath as much as possible and then you can either keep breathing through one nostril or you switch nostrils with every breath.. Fun fact: and this is also scientifically proven, but when you breathe only through your left nostril, it is calming, they also call it the "Moon side" πŸŒ™ and breathing only through your right nostril is activating, also called the "Sun side" β˜€οΈ Hence, when you switch sides every breath, this technique is so balancing βš–οΈ Here's a video when you want the exercise more explained in detail: Have a great day, Breathe well.🌿

Using the Sunday to Lock-In 🎯
As I told you earlier, I was going to work with a coach that is going to help me set up my whole breathwork business and building this community πŸ’ͺ So after two months of waiting, this one-on-one coaching program finally started! Last Friday I had a three-hour discovery call, and we made big progress. We worked on finding the ideal client, the niche, the transformation statement... Now we are kind of clear on that. I have to start working on my offer, "so what am I going to offer my future clients?" So I decided to use this Sunday to lock-in, to spend all morning working on this offer, like really moving the needle. It is maybe not that visible here in the community yet, but that will come soon. But this program is built around moving forward the business every day. So I'm just curious: what are you locking in? What do you want to really move forward with this day or in the coming week? @Suzana Benfeito Nice!! And yes I know! the online is a thing.. I have learned that outreach works better than just posting on instagram, maybe try finding facebook groups where your clients hang out? It is maybe not that much but I think I got around 7 people into this community in one week by doing outreach, imagine if you do it for a couple of weeks or months straightπŸ’ͺ But that is also the reason that I wasn't that active on instagram lately, will pick it up soon though as I now know my niche and almost have my offerπŸ™‚ Have you tried outreach already?
