Million Dollar Dreams

I used to dream in black and white

I didn’t know how to turn the color on.

I used to give up without a fight

I didn't know I had the option to stand or be strong.

I used to fantasize that one day someone would come and save me.

I didn’t know that the only one who could— was there all along.

I now honor my dreams, my goals

And I purposefully make it my business to move the post.

I don’t wait for anyone else, no magic, no ghosts.

My dreams are in color and no longer black and white, I learned to stand up for me, I learned to live and continue the fight.

I also know now, that any issue I face is only a solution away —-from being resolved and turned beautifully; into a reality that pays.

Reaching forward and backward healing generations and legacies.

I now am a believer of million dollar dreams.
