Most people try to solve the situationwhile theyâre still activated.

Donât solve it yet.
First:
- Notice what your body is doing
- Take one slow inhale
- Take a longer exhale
- Wait 10â20 seconds
That pause isnât doing nothing.
Itâs telling your nervous systemit doesnât have to rush.
From there, you can ask:
Do I need to respond right now?
Or do I just feel like I do?
That question alone creates space.
And space is where better decisions come from.
