Today’s discussion is all about RETINOIDS — one of the most powerful ingredients in skincare.
🧴 What are retinoids?
Retinoids are a form of Vitamin A that help to:
  • Increase cell turnover
  • Boost collagen production
  • Improve skin texture + tone
  • Reduce fine lines, acne & pigmentation
🔍 Types of retinoids (important to know)
  • Retinol → beginner-friendly (most common)
  • Retinal (Retinaldehyde) → stronger, faster results
  • Prescription retinoids (e.g. tretinoin) → medical strength
👉 The stronger it is, the faster it works but also more irritation risk
⚠️ What clients NEED to understand
Retinoids are amazing… but they must be used correctly:
  • Start 2–3 times per week only
  • Use at night only 🌙
  • Always follow with SPF in the day ☀️
  • Expect some: Dryness Flaking “Purging” phase
