#FrameworkFriday: Why Can't My Horse Pick Up The Correct Lead?
I see this often enough that we need to talk about it. Watch this video that shows a typical situation when the rider doesn't get the horse to pick up the correct lead. What is going on? ➡️ What can the rider do to help the horse strike off with the outside hind (the first foot fall of the 3 beat canter)? https://www.facebook.com/share/r/195D7kGmuv/

Biomechanics and Jumping
I have never been a fan of the modern crest release and jumping forward on the horse's neck. Biomechanically, this is never a good idea. Not only for the ride or getting out of balance, but also for making it more difficult for the horse to carry the rider. ➡️ What do you think? https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1b6b7adqEL/
