Awesome deep dive!
What we discussed:
- A small moment with my 3-year-old melting down over missing McQueen pants exposed a bigger truth: We let tiny things snowball and hijack our minds. What we believe becomes our reality, even when it isnât true.
- The real problem isnât anxiety or fearâitâs the thought that starts it. Thoughts lead to actions, actions to experiences. If you donât address the lie early, it runs the whole cycle.
- Thatâs the Replacement Principle: catch the lie, remove it, replace it with truth. Repetition matters.
God didnât give us fear, but power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). This is a real battle for the mind, not just stress. The enemyâs only weapon is lies, and distraction keeps us from confronting them.
- A lie believed as truth will affect your life as if it were true. Catch it early. Replace it with truth. And donât fight it alone.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday's call to discuss Chapter 2!
