Think you missed the boat on AI? The data says otherwise. A 2026 survey, done by Kit, of 550 business creators found a few things I think are especially encouraging if you’re building a business in midlife: 🧠 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. 89.2% review and edit AI-generated content before using it....and 0% fully trust AI without changes. The takeaway: 𝘈𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘥𝘰𝘮, 𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. 𝘐𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮. 💬 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 “𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿,” 𝗻𝗼𝘁 “𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁.” 82.7% use AI for brainstorming/ideation, and the same percentage use it for writing/editing. That means 𝘈𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘴, 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨...𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭. 📱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁. ChatGPT and Claude are among the most-used tools, and both work through a simple conversation. If you can type a question, you can start experimenting with AI. The takeaway: 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦...𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦.... 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘫𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. The goal isn’t to become an “AI expert.” It’s to learn how to make AI useful for you. And for me, this is such a validation that what we are doing here inside this community is exactly what we should be doing.
