3/22 - Weekly IFA Call (Intro to Candle Magic, Protocols, and Spiritual Protection)
VIEW RECORDING - 135 mins Key Takeaways - Candles are spiritual antennas. Their behavior (e.g., flame size, wax patterns) provides direct messages from spirit, making them powerful tools for divination and manifestation. - Emotion is the primary source of spiritual backlash. All spiritual work must be performed from a neutral, high-vibration state to ensure effective, positive outcomes and prevent negative repercussions. - A strict protocol is mandatory for all candle work. This includes cleansing the space and candle, dressing it with intention, and invoking Eshu to open paths.. - Protection is paramount. Use specific techniques like reverse candles or spirit dolls to deflect negativity. When returning energy, send it back to its highest vibration to close the door on further attacks. Weekly Ifa Call March Energy Matrix
Recording Odu Overview: The Odu promises prosperity and spiritual awakening, but success is contingent on maintaining good character and humility. community. Key Takeaways - March's Odu is Eji Ogbe: This senior Odu, owned by Obatala, signals a month of prosperity and spiritual awakening, but with a critical caveat: success is tied to maintaining good character and avoiding arrogance. - The Ebo (Offering) is Milk & Honey: This "cold" Ebo to Obatala symbolizes a slow, deliberate process for receiving and retaining blessings. Milk represents nourishment and balance, while honey symbolizes attraction, longevity, and the power of community. - Patience is Paramount: The Odu warns against impatience and "gambling" (taking shortcuts or acting from fear). True success requires a solid foundation built through patience, allowing divine timing to unfold. - Character is the Foundation: The Odu's core lesson is that character is everything. Maintaining a "cool head" and speaking from a place of integrity is crucial for receiving clear spiritual guidance and avoiding self-sabotage. Topics March Odu: Eji Ogbe (Ogbe Meji) - The Odu for March is Eji Ogbe (also called Ogbe Meji), the senior Odu in the Ifa system. - It is owned by Obatala, the "father of the Orishas," who also owns the final Odu, Ofun, symbolizing "Alpha and Omega." - Warning: Avoid "overzealous behavior" or arrogance. Celebrating success is positive; using it to prove a point or from a place of ego is not. - Economic Guidance: Avoid gambling or speculative activities driven by fear. This is a month for patience and building a solid foundation, not for seeking instant results. - Health Guidance: Manage stress to prevent headaches and spinal issues. The Odu emphasizes emotional well-being as key to physical health. - Relationship Guidance: Prioritize harmony, clear communication, and fidelity. The Odu warns against indiscretion and backbiting.

The Divine Messenger
Esu, Esu lanulanu, Esu Odara. Much like all the Orisa, Lwa, and deities, there are may roads, or aspects to consider when we first pay or honor Esu. The Divine messenger is the one Orisa. If you have heard the saying "there are 200 on the left, 200 on the right and 1 in the middle. The one in the middle is Esu." Esu is the right hand of Orunmila. When you are seeking knowledge and wisdom from Orunmila, you must first honor Esu. When you are feeding any Orisa or making any prayers or petitions to any Orisa, you must first consult Esu and make offerings. Number: 3 Colors: Red and Black Offerings: Rum, Gin, sweet things, candies, cakes, etcs. palm oil (Folks also give him symbolic toys, for specific intentions) Home: The cross roads (4 way stop)

Winds of Change
In 2021 I was starting to really figure out what needed to be done for me to be successful. I had committed myself to learning more about Ifa, and what my ancestors had laid out for me. As it happened, I was preparing for an Eleke Ceremony. Now a lil bit of context. I was studying under an Iyanifa who is working to create an additional practice in ATR (African Traditional Religions). She has many crowns and grew up in the church. This practice as I fully understand now, is like a mash up of practices. a gumbo if you will of spiritual practices. The Eleke Ceremony is the first entry point of being a Priestess in Training. In September, 1 month before my first ever ceremony, my apartment caught on fire. My brother almost lost his life, and I was devastated. I felt like what a set back. I reached out the mentor I had at the time, and she did a divination to determine what was going on. The winds of change. She told me this was not to be seen as a set back, but a set up for something greater. I did a new home working and got a place within three weeks of the fire, and started out to figure out how to re-establish and support my brother. I did end up going to the eleke ceremony, and now here we are 5 years later, and I am stronger and wiser and have taken that perceived set back, and turned it into the opportunity to listen clearly and to move when Oya say move. To take the swift change she brings, and to use it to align me perfectly with my greatest destiny. Keeping me in good character and following my purpose. Oya represents the winds of change. She manages the ancestor realm, and the market place (earth) She is the wife of Shango. Her number is 9. Her colors are purple and Red. You can give Oya Red Wine, plum wine, and gin. kola nut, eggplant and things in bunches of 9. She is the cool breeze on a hot summer day, bringing coolness and calmness, and she is the roaring winds, knocking down trees and building bringing fear and anxiousness. Her and Shango share an Ose day. which is today.
