How to spot AI written Content
AI is an incredible tool… I use it every single day.
But here’s the truth most people don’t realise…
If you don’t tweak what it gives you, your content can start to sound a bit… off.
Not bad. Just not you.
And people can feel that straight away.
Here are a few things I notice instantly 👇
1️⃣ The over-the-top dramatic lines
AI loves to sound deep and meaningful.
“It’s not just a website… it’s an experience.”“It wasn’t just fear… it was clarity.”
Sounds nice… but no one actually talks like that in real life.
2️⃣ The choppy, dramatic sentences
You’ll see things like:
“I wanted more. Better work. More freedom.”“I was burnt out. Completely burnt out. Something had to change.”
It’s trying to add emotion… but it can feel a bit forced.
3️⃣ Everything comes in threes
This is a big one.
“Simple, scalable, effective.”“Design, strategy, execution.”
AI loves a neat little trio.
Real people? Not so much.
And then there’s the wording…
Sometimes it just feels slightly off. Like… technically correct, but not how you’d actually say it.
And just to be clear…
AI isn’t the problem.
It’s actually one of the best tools we’ve got.
But the magic isn’t in copying and pasting.
It’s in taking what it gives you… and making it sound like you.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what people connect with.
Not perfect words.
Just real ones.
