Salt & Light Study Series Matthew 5-7
Sisters! We missed you tonight, but no worries, here is the replay. Tonight, we had an overview of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount and who the sermon was for. We briefly covered Matthew 1-4, and we broke down our first verses in the study, Matthew 5:1-2; the posture of a disciple vs the posture of the crowd.
Discipleship begins with proximity sis. You can't follow from a distance. You can't hear or see in the back. Get intimate with Him! Get up there to the front, to the feet of Jesus, so you can hear Him clearly!
Reflection question: What does coming closer to Jesus look like in this season of my life?
Homework: Read Matthew chapters 1-4, chapter 5:1-2 to catch up, then Matthew 5:3-12 for our study next month on March 24th at 7pm.
I'm working on something special that I pray you will find helpful and useful that will include the schedule for the entire year. I'll have that to you by the end of the week.
