Let's look at the top 3 cards of the set that you can pull from the packs: Venusaur EX #198 - PSA 10 POP: 9,750 - PSA 10 PRICE: $255.00 - RAW: $61.00 - 1 YR PERF: 49.7% Charizard EX #199 - PSA 10 POP: 16,974 - PSA 10 PRICE: $713.00 - RAW: $193.50 - 1 YR PERF: 49.35% Blastoise EX #200 - PSA 10 POP: 10,726 - PSA 10 PRICE: $280.00 - RAW: $68.99 - 1 YR PERF: 46.45% All of these cards have had roughly the same trajectory over the course of the product's life. They started high, bottomed at around 6-12 months, and then began to go back up before leveling out. One general rule of thumb for investing in a Pokémon set is there is usually only a handful of cards that matter for long term value. Of these three cards, I have a price target of $500 for PSA 10 Blastoise/Venusaur within 1-2 years and $1,000 for the Charizard within 1-2 years. This is also a special set, so depending on the demand, it could be even higher.
