Are we there yet? Who are you? Who am I? Who knows? Who cares? Who's counting? What's the point? What's up? Why try? Why lie? When do we leave? When do we start? Where are we going? Where are we now? Which way is up? Which way is down? How did we get here? How do we know? Are we there yet?
TLDR;
We are One Nation Under A Groove.
For better or worse.
Thru thick and thin. ⚡️
If we are of this universe...
Then we are universal. 💯
As above, so below.
Up, down, left, right, A, B, Start.
Around and 'round we go. ☯️
A short story.
Kind of. 😎
After 20/20...
I started reevaluating some things.
I saw the chaos that whole scenario had caused.
It derailed what I had going on at the time too.
As a military vet...
I've lost friends and know a lot of people struggling.
So I started looking into what I could do to help. 🙏
That's when I found a Tai Chi program that specifically worked with the VA.
The stars just kind of aligned there.
There were more hurdles of course...
But I got my certification.
After the Marines...
I started playing Kung Fu.
I started studying Philosophy and Anthropology.
So I knew these things had worked for me.
There is a connection that comes with the military.
Separating from that...
Severing that tie...
Can leave a void.
These things helped me make sense of that.
I was a real hot head... 🤯
That fit in the context of the Corps...
But outside of that...
Civilians just thought I was crazy, LOL.
These things helped me find balance.
By the time I got my cert tho...
The Biden admin wasn't really approving "community care".
(Which is what Tai Chi falls under with the VA)
So I started looking for other routes to go...
Such as online.
It was another long road there... 🌀
But eventually I found Skool. 😎
I had heard about it for awhile...
But I wasn't really sold...
Until one of the marketing gurus I follow got me to join.
Once I was here...
I started joining any group that spoke to me.
This seemed like what I was looking for.
So I started this community. ☯️
We're all on this journey together...
One step at a time...
One foot in front of the other...
Incremental becomes exponential. 💯
When I joined the Marines...
I had never even seen a helicopter (up close).
I had never been on a plane until I went to Boot Camp.
Within a couple of years...
I was one of the most qualified guys in my field.
In the world.
One of the ways that happened was teamwork.
Mentoring was a focal point...
Not an afterthought.
As soon as we learned one thing...
We immediately become mentor to everyone who wasn't there yet.
There was always someone above to learn from...
And always someone below to guide.
Even once I was running the shop...
I still had my mentors. 🙏
Then there were my peers.
Me and my roommate...
Every time I'd learn something...
I'd show him.
Every time he'd learn something...
He'd show me.
Our growth was exponential because of that.
After a few years...
We were way ahead of most of our peers...
And had surpassed most of our mentors. 💪
95% of our learning came from OJT (on the job training).
We didn't learn in classes or from books...
We learned by doing.
Even our tests were mostly practical application.
Life is an experience...
NOT an explanation! ⚡️
"Do or do not, there is no try."
No one is a perfect person.
No one has it all figured out.
In the grand scheme of things...
We know closer to nothing than something. 🥶
I recently heard a physicist say...
IF we know everything there is to know about everything we know...
Then MAYBE...
We know ~5% of the universe. 🫠
That leaves A LOT of room for us to keep learning...
To keep seeking the truth.
One of my teachers always says...
"Learning begins with a question."
Today we have the "Socratic Method"...
Because Socrates went around asking questions.
(Or maybe Plato made him up, but I digress, 😂)
Some people thought they had all of the answers...
But that is the very thing that prevented them from finding any. 🤯
The stoic idea is that there are things you can control...
And things you can't.
Focus your energy on the things you can control...
And pay no mind to the things you can't.
Chinese arts have a concept...
"Know the difference between empty and full."
Which is essentially...
"Do you know your ass from a hole in the ground?" 🤷♂️
It's important to be able to distinguish...
Between which things you can control...
And which things you can't.
That can be difficult at times...
Other people, you can't really control.
Yourself, you have a lot more say there. 👌
If you get stuck somewhere along the line...
Look within before pointing fingers.
What goes around comes around. 👉👈
If you keep going...
Everywhere leads to somewhere eventually...
The answers you seek may already be within.
But you may have to face the person in the mirror. 🥶
Take a step back.
Take a deep breath. 🌬️
Quiet the noise.
Calm the storm.
Ride the wave. 🌊
Go with the flow.
Be like water.
Keep it moving...
But still... be still. ✌️
You have to fill your cup before you can pour into others.
You have to empty your cup before you can fill it.
It's almost as if those things are connected somehow... 🤔
Maybe I'm trippin', LOL. ☯️

When I find something that speaks to me...
I share it.
That may be ancient wisdom, quotes, music, philosophy, history...
Even a so-called "conspiracy theory" or two. 😎
Some of these things may speak to YOU.
Some of these things may not.
Some may even seem just plain CRAZY, lol. 🫠
It's all good (maybe even literally 🤔)...
Share what speaks to you.
Question what you don't understand.
Keep searching.
Keep going.
We're all in this together.
One people on this little blue rock flying around the sun. 🌞
Or stuck in the matrix simulation, lol. 😵💫
Call it what you want to call it...
