Here are my real goals. The ones I wrote down
and mean.
30 Days — Get my A1C below 6.
That puts me in the normal range. Not pre-diabetic.
Not diabetic. Normal.
I started at 13. Six weeks later I am at 6.1.
Below 6 is not a dream. It is the next step.
60 Days — Get to my target weight of 160 lbs.
Not because of how it looks. Because of how it
feels. Because carrying less weight means less
stress on a body that has been through enough.
90 Days — Be in the gym building muscle.
This is the one that gets me fired up.
Not just surviving. Not just managing a disease.
Actually building something. Getting stronger.
Showing up for myself the way I should have
years ago.
That is what this is all about.
Not today I quit.
Not today I give up.
Not today I go back.
Write your goals down.
Mean them.
Then go make them happen.
