Surfing Style Guide πŸ€™πŸ½ Quick Read
A surfer's style is the ultimate test of how good you are. Have you ever seen a guy do an air or a radical maneuver and thought to yourself that it did not look right? I see this all the time. Or see another surfer that is just flowing with the wave and making it look easy. That is actually much harder than the radical maneuver. Check out this guide where which explains the subtleties of style that will take you from a good surfer to a great surfer. https://www.degree33surfboards.com/blogs/gettin-pitted/how-to-improve-your-surfing-style-on-any-board-longboards-midlengths-and-shortboards In your opinion, what surfer has the best style that you have seen?

Perfect Pop Up Video πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ
Just shared this video with @Joe Sigurdson who wants to improve his pop up. I suggested dry land pop ups at home before he surfs to loosen him up. Game changer! Check out this pop up video by Marcelo Castellanos, a friend of mine who trains pros in El Salvador. Best pop up video I know of:
Running List of Surf Tips
While out here in Montana for the summer I haven’t been able to surf the rivers yet but started fly fishing. As a newbie I found a book of just a running list of tips for anglers of all skill levels. I thought this would be great for surfing as well. Given the amount of knowledge and experience represented in this space, I thought it would be beneficial if each of us can add one tip you would like to share for surfers of any skill level. For example: For short boarders learning how to perform a snap, make sure to twist your hips and look in the direction you are going. Too often we can get ahead of ourselves and look down the line before our turn is complete. Even on the pro level I’ve seen people dig a rail after their turns because they get too ahead of themselves.
