Good Thursday Morning Syndicate Fam. I'm sorry to say that @Lisa Ronquillo who was going to lead tomorrow's Success Chat on AI and ethics in the field, has had a personal emergency. Sadly her dad passed away yesterday after a valiant struggle these past months. It also turns out that I have to go to Cleveland tomorrow for a client meeting I wasn't expecting. Due to that, I am going to Cancel tomorrow's Coffee Chat, but I would really like to see a big turnout next month where we will be doing Pride Chats every Thursday at 10am Eastern Time. I’m excited to officially welcome @Art Smith and GayBArchives as the FIRST accepted business/community project inside the Trans Collective Archive (TCA) LGBTQ+ Business & Creator Directory. ✨ GayBArchives has built a community of over 57,000 members focused on LGBTQ+ history, culture, conversation, memories, and preserving pieces of community life that deserve to be remembered and shared. Honestly… having an archive-centered community become the very first accepted project feels incredibly fitting. 🌈📚 Thank you Art for supporting the vision early and being part of helping build something community-centered from the ground up. I also made a short video walkthrough showing the directory post and spotlight. 👀✨ More founders, creators, organizations, artists, wellness spaces, and LGBTQ+ businesses will be added as submissions continue coming in.
