Memorial Day Weekend. Community Connection.
Happy Friday Syndicate Friends. I want to start by thanking @Shanti Gold for a wonderful chat yesterday, helping me pull my thoughts together on the loss that has been consuming me the last couple of weeks, and the possibilities ahead. This is what I created this community for. Real world business and lgbtq professionals to have a place to support each other, grow, and learn from each other. If you only meet one person here that has made your business or life a little bit richer for the experience, I have done my job and am happy with what we have built together. I want to thank all of the wonderful members who contribute regularly and those who check in when they can. It takes all of us to make something special, even though we are all awfully busy. Special shout out besides Shanti, to @Art Smith @Danielle Morris @Richard Jones @Aidan McClain @Eli Del Rio @Michael Thomas @Lisa Ronquillo @Jay West @John Morley @Richard Skipper and @David Churchill I hope you all get to enjoy an extended weekend with friends and family, chosen or otherwise... This Memorial Day Weekend, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. For the LGBTQ Success Syndicate, this weekend is also a reminder that freedom, visibility, community, and opportunity are never things we take for granted. Many people sacrificed so future generations could live with more safety, more possibility, and more pride. As LGBTQ entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and allies, let’s use this weekend to rest, reflect, reconnect, and remember what we are building together.

@Scott Fullerton It was great to connect yesterday 🙌. You ARE building a space for real world support for the LGBTQ+ community. I appreciate all of the time, heart, and resources you are creating. And I appreciate YOU for who you are in the world 🌟
Calling LGBTQ+ Businesses, Creators & Community Projects 🌈
A huge thank you to @Scott Fullerton and everyone inside the LGBTQ+ Success Syndicate for creating a space where people can build, connect, and actually be seen. 💜 I wanted to open something up FIRST to this community before I post it elsewhere. I’m currently building the Trans Collective (name pending) a living archive + resource hub centered around trans, non-binary people, their partners, and allies. As part of making the space feel more full-circle and inclusive, I’m opening up an LGBTQ+ business and creator directory inside the project. I’m inviting LGBTQ+ owned businesses, creators, coaches, artists, nonprofits, service providers, wellness spaces, community projects, and entrepreneurs of ALL kinds to be part of the first founding directory. The first 50 approved businesses that submit will be grandfathered in permanently as founding members of the directory. Each approved business will receive: ✨ A dedicated page ✨ Business description + who you help ✨ Photos or media ✨ Option to embed a video ✨ Links to your offers, socials, booking pages, websites, etc. The intention is to create more visibility, connection, collaboration, and discoverability between people in the community. I’ll be dropping the Google Form in the comments below. For transparency, I’ll also be screenshotting submission order as they come in. Whether you’re a one-person side hustle, established business, artist, healer, educator, creator, or community organizer, you’re welcome here. 🌈 Business Input Form If there was ONE giant LGBTQ+ community mall/community center/resource hub… where would we find you first? 😂🌈

Reset, Refresh, Reconnect and Welcome Our New Members
Happy Monday Success Syndicate Fam! I had to take 4 days off to pull myself back together. I Was not in a good place last week, with our member's and my personal frend, @Jonathan Shuffield's, death, but I also had my first Mother's Day without my Mom after care-giving the past 10 years and it's the 1 year anniversary of her death in a few short weeks. Still in a bit of a funk, but going to try to push thru this week. Let's start by what always put's a smile on my face, 3 new members to the Success Syndicate. Please welcome @Janiqua Utley from NYC, who is an entrepreneur, with over 10+ years of experience in both residential and commercial cleaning. @Dennis McKeon is from Florida and operates in the health care industry, working with hospitals, radiology and cardiology. And @Kat Brunner is from Minnesota and offers physical and virtual coaching, that helps queer professionals move from corporate survival to intentional career design. I hope you will all take a minute to introduce yourselves to the group and let us know how we can help you grow your business with referrals and community.

@Scott Fullerton ❤️❤️❤️
You may never know what the win for the week will be - until it happens.
Sometimes you just never know the impact your actions will have. Sometimes the wins are totally unexpected. I started the #GayBarchives project as a labor of love. I knew it would put smiles on a lot of faces and bring back a lot of memories. However, I never expected this. Yesterday one of our members posted a heart-wrenching comment on the page, and immediately over 1,000 members reacted. This is why I continue to build GayBarchives. #ilovegaybars #LGBThistory

Welcome Our Newest Member. Saturday Cartoon Faves?
Happy Saturday Syndicate Fam! Welcome to the weekend from a rainy NE Ohio. Please welcome to the group @Carin Chantel from Los Angeles. Carin is a Hairdresser and Podcaster, as well as Neurospicy, a fellow Coffee Lover after my own heart, and a Narrative Journalist. I hope you will tell us all a bit more about yourself and welcome to our wonderful group of LGBTQ Professionals. As I sit under my blanket in my comfortable recliner, sipping coffee and enjoying the rain on the window, I thought I would share my latest Daily Drip that reminds me of those lazy Saturdays as a kid..... What Saturday Morning Cartoons Can Teach Us About Life Remember when Saturday morning meant pajamas, cereal, cartoons, and absolutely no meetings? Those classic cartoon mornings were more than nostalgia. They were a weekly reminder that life needs wonder, laughter, and a little reset button. Whether you loved mystery-solving crews, superhero teams, talking animals, or wildly chaotic characters, Saturday cartoons gave us permission to start the day with imagination. Life works the same way. Some weeks feel like a cartoon chase scene: loud, fast, and full of unexpected obstacles. But the best characters kept going. They solved problems with friends, bounced back after mistakes, and somehow always found the lesson before the credits rolled. That is today’s Daily Drip: do not lose your Saturday morning spirit. Rest. Laugh. Refuel. Let your imagination stretch again. The adult world will always have deadlines, bills, strategy calls, and responsibilities. But your creativity needs play. Your heart needs joy. Your mind needs a break from being productive all the time. This weekend, give yourself permission to be a little more animated. Pay It Forward: Send someone a nostalgic message today: “What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?” Give them a reason to smile. Share in the comments what YOUR favorite Saturday morning cartoon was.

Welcome @Carin Chantel! My Dad's family is from Mayfield Heights and I spent a lot of time there as a kid. On the cartoon front, I'm a Saturday morning Looney Toons gal.
