A proud mum moment

A photo of us celebrating my daughter getting straight A's in her exam results today.

She worked so hard for these results. It's funny these results mean than her previous ones because she was doing it for herself.

She already had an unconditional offer for Uni but wanted to still do well. She even had to fight teachers to do Advanced Higher (Scottish exam slightly higher than an English A Level) in French. She was good at Maths so the teachers thought she should do that instead of French.

I'm proud that she stood up for what she wanted to do and enjoyed doing. She went on holiday to France a month ago and people thought she was learning French in France. It helps that she loves speaking French and her school teacher is French.

A very proud mum moment.
