In this lesson I’ll take you through a beginner course on making a hydrangea necklace. Here we use a single piece of fabric to make one hydrangea flower and attach them to a chain to make a necklace with or without abalone shell.

This is step two of stump embroidery. It’s a bit harder than the hydrangeas and takes more materials. You will need thin wire (preferably the ones used for making false flowers), and pistils also used for flower making, and light pink felt with two similar colors (lighter and darker) for the embroidery floss. I also recommend yellow alcohol pens (copic).
