Even worseā¦you could actually lose muscle BY forcing your body to break down muscle tissue for energy.

Eating too much will keep you from seeing progress.
So whatās the sweet spot? well, let me tailor the answer to your situation so that you get the results you want š
Situation 1:
If youāre happy with how much body fat you have right now,
Start at maintenance calories. This means eating enough to maintain your current weight while focusing on building muscle through weight training.
Situation 2:
If you still want to lose a bit more fat,
Start with a āsensibleā calorie deficit ā about 15-20%. This is just enough to burn fat while still fueling your body to maintain muscle.
This wayā¦youāll burn fat while keeping your body fueled to preserve muscle.
