I've been thinking about things we can do to make this community really valuable to everyone that might want to slash their risk of a stroke.
I think the alternate daily prevention tops will be a great start.
Are there other things we can add too?
One thing I thought about is having a monthly "Ask Anything" session when we can all go on and ask any questions or queries we have about strokes and stroke prevention.
I'll do my best to answer what I can and between us we can probably answer most things
The other idea I had was to do a monthly "Blood pressure check and intention setting session".
We'd all log on to a video call and check our BP at the same time (or not if you don't have a monitor). We could then talk about what 1 change we're going to make that month to help reduce our risk (e.g. walk 8000 steps, or eat more veg). Over the course of the month we could post updates and keep each other accountable to our goals.
What do you think? I'm sure you have better ideas then me and I'm up for giving almost anything a go!
