Is it the Team or the system? 🤔
If you find yourself constantly stepping in to fix problems, redo work, or manage confusion…pause before blaming the team. Often, what looks like a “people problem” is actually a systems problem in disguise. Clear, consistent SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) give your team the structure to succeed and allow you to observe whether the issue is truly about performance or if expectations, workflows, or training were unclear from the start.
Start by asking:
  • Are roles and processes clearly documented?
  • Are SOPs being followed and reviewed regularly?
  • Do my values show up in our daily execution?
When the system is strong, accountability becomes easier and fairness becomes automatic. If you’re unsure where the leak is, start by auditing your operational foundations.
