Hey everyone
I’ve been going back and listening to a lot of of the recorded power our calls and Dave spends a good amount of time challenging people’s thinking and perspectives and what not because at the end of the day regardless of how good or bad a facility has run, if we want an opportunity to buy it, it’s going to come down to Sales
There’s a local salon here in town in Cleveland that is probably the most expensive one around and they have been around for 30 years and have probably eight or nine locations and the guy that runs it consults for multimillion dollar companies and fortune 500 organizations.
Everything he does is around customer experience and sales and one of the things that he always talks about is FORD
Family
Occupation
Recreation
Dreams
Ask the person you’re speaking with questions about their family, what they do for work, what they like to do in their free time, and their goals and dreams
I don’t remember who said it, but it’s been said many times that you have to take an interest in others before they will take an interest in you. I know Maya Angelou was credited with saying something along the lines of people don’t care about how much you know until they know about how much you care.
I have found in my experience that when I just do these things and save the selling part for last or don’t even mention it at all, THEY are the ones that begin taking an interest in doing business with me
Servant, leadership I think is a lost art in many ways and while the rest of the world is trying to automate every single thing and use AI, a personal touch will probably be the dragon slayer at the end of the day
