If you’re here, you’re probably doing work that matters — and feeling like the systems around it make things harder than they should be. This isn’t a place to perform, debate, or show expertise. It’s a place to be honest about what’s broken and practical about what actually helps. You don’t need to introduce yourself if you don’t want to. You don’t need the “right” answer. If you want to start, reply to this with one thing you’re rebuilding, working around, or carrying right now that should already be solved.

Does your work feel harder than it should be?
I keep seeing the same pattern: smart, capable people spending huge amounts of time rebuilding things that already exist — training, workflows, documentation, processes — because the system never seems to hold. It’s not that the work is complex (it is). It’s that the structures around it don’t match reality, so everything feels heavier than it should. If this group is useful, it’ll be because we can be honest about what’s broken — and practical about what actually helps. Question: what’s the thing you’re rebuilding or working around right now that should already be solved?
