Quick one. How would you use a block?
Most people say construction. Obviously.
Alex Hormozi has an example like this in $100M Offers. What if it's a block of gold you could trade? A tiny block on a keychain? A block of cheese? Same word, totally different answers, once you stop taking the first one.
I was reading Zero to One around the same time and it sent me down a rabbit hole on static vs dynamic thinking. Static is Monopoly: there's one way to make money. Pass Go, buy property, collect rent. Dynamic is real life, where there are hundreds of ways to solve the same problem. Most of us still play life like it's Monopoly.
My framework when I'm stuck:
- Name the real bottleneck.
- Sit with it and list every way it could be solved with what you already have, not just the obvious path.
- Pick the best one, even if it's uncomfortable.
Find your bottleneck and try to find different ways to get over it. Comment below if you'd like to share yours.
