Quote I like... put something down
"In order to pick something up, you must put something down." Chris Williamson When we set goals we only ever think about adding. Never subtracting. Chris describes it like a buffet. You pile your plate with everything that looks good, sit down, and you can't finish half of it. That's exactly how most of us run our weeks. I was that guy. Trying to launch a business, grow this community, train for another 100-mile race, start dating, make content, all on top of a 40+ hour job. I looked at my calendar and there was barely time left to take a proper dump. Busy, yes. Productive... not really. Your energy is a battery and it only lasts one day. Spend it on the stuff with the highest return. Something to reflect on: What's one thing you're putting down this week to make room for what actually matters?

If your life was a movie...
If your life was a movie, what would the audience be screaming at you right now? "Just text her." "Quit that job." "Stop scrolling and go to bed." "You already know what to do." In Rocky the grind is a 3-minute montage with music. In real life it can be 4 years of showing up with no visible change. Honestly, that's where I am right now, and it's the reason I started this community. Change is lonely and it's hard. A lot of you are in what Chris Williamson calls the lonely chapter. You've outgrown the old version of you, but the new one isn't here yet. Your old friends don't really get why you're up early or skipping the Friday night out. There's nobody to talk to about the goals, the doubts, the weeks where nothing seems to move. So you keep going, mostly on your own. You don't have to do this chapter alone. Drop a quick hi below and say where you're from. Then say hi to someone else in the comments. Meet new people through this post.

Hey from Toronto l, Love this perspective—the 'lonely chapter' is so real, but we keep showing up."
Quote I like...
"It's a feature, not a bug." Problems are a feature of life, not a bug. There will never come a time in your life when you never have any problems until you are dead. Any goal that you set will require your sacrifice; think of it as the price of achieving the goal. If you are not prepared to pay the price, let go of the desire to achieve the goal.
