If you’re looking to get up earlier, whether it be for some time to relax before work, work on your business, exercise, or anything in between, it’s hard.
I’ve been working on moving my wake up time to 5 am, and as a 20 year old college student, I’m having a lot of trouble with it.
One thing I have found that really helps though, is light. We recently got some smart light bulbs, and you can program them to come on at a certain time. For me, that’s been 5am.
This helps simulate the sunrise and signals to my body that it’s okay to be awake now.
But it’s definitely not fool-proof.. there have been times I just fall asleep on the couch in the living room once I get out of bed.
