How can I help?
What is something you would like help with, or to know more about, related to stepping back into life? I’m wanting to look more in depth into some things, and would love to know what would be useful for you all :D

@Tyler Mace Yeah, they’re pretty awesome :D I love the vision, that’s certainly something needed. I’d say the first thing would be figuring out who specifically, within the group of 18-30 year olds. A certain type of career? A certain pain point? I think a lot of guys this age are struggling with “good grief what am I going to do for the rest of my life” I.e. “I help young men ages 18-30 gain clarity and confidence, without the pressure to figure it out right away.” (Or something). Building a community that would be very accepting and positive, that Christian guys could join and be built up, ask questions they might be scared to ask, and have fun. I definitely think there’s a space to be built for Christian guys with a drive to do big things. A big focus on the true, deeper “why”s, to keep them on track for eternity as they’re working for things on Earth. You could even try coordinating an accountability system, with 3-4 guys per group. I would also say making things effective, time wise, should be considered. I often feel like I’ve got very little time, so maybe having a solid reward system for putting time in, but not punishing if they can’t? I would also want it to be a space without a lot of the crude jokes, cussing, etc. that this age group is stereotypically fond of, not sure how you’d go about that though. Bit of a brain dump, but I hope it’s helpful!

@Tyler Mace Love this "I realized that purpose is intrinsic, and your job or career should be a reflection of that purpose, not the other way around." That definitely hits hard. Maybe reframing that to and throwing out what you picture their life is like in 5-10 years if they don't start taking intentional action, which of course would be the opposite. "Living for the weekend, and getting purpose from your job? Let's flip the script. 4 week pathfinder challenge: Define your purpose, discover your path." "Is life just happening to you? Take it back. You have one life, but do you have a mission?" Something to that effect might grab some attention, I could definitely see an intro challenge -> community working for this
The 5 Second Reset
Throughout my day, I often feel stressed. I'm walking to and from places, and hardly know where I am I'm so caught up in my thoughts. But sometimes I'll realize, and pause. I stand still for about 5-10 seconds, breathe, and notice. I listen, observe, and feel. Basically run through the senses and take a moment with them. I've found that when I move on after this, I am more focused and energized than I was before. Today, if you find yourself rushing, I want you to try the 5 second reset for yourself, and I'd love to hear how your body and mind respond to it :D

Stepping back, moving forward
After the craziness that brought about my last post, I needed a bit of a breather. I had to step back. But still, moved forward. I will be starting a new job, and stepping away from my windowless lab and cubicle quite soon. I am very thankful for this opportunity, and super excited to see where it leads. What has been a point in your life where stepping back and looking at the big picture has helped you move forward?

BOZE (Part 2) Coming to the end of a life changing weekend.
Last Friday I met with Chris Lang about possibly working together. 6 Days later, I have a flight booked to Bozeman, MT to work with him, Shared Sweeps, and Isaac Nunez. Captured unbelievable moments. Met incredible and inspiring people. Witnessed a wonderful life changed from winning the Shared Sweeps $100,000 giveaway. Had amazing conversations. Here's some of my takeaways from the weekend. - First and foremost -- God has a plan. Take the leap, and trust Him to catch you. - Be yourself. Eric Autry was amazing at this. He showed me that if you lay all your cards on the table, people will appreciate you for it. Certainly, some might hate you for it, and some will love you for it. But it's what you have to do if you want to make anything sustainable. - Life is short. If you're an arms length from rock bottom, but the positive possibilities are endless, take the risk. At best, dreams come true. At worst, you get one step closer. - Build the straw house first. Once you've done that, then you can go through and put out fires, bring in the supports, and make it storm proof. Thanks Eric Nelson! - No matter how good you are, things take time. Be patient, keep going. If you don't give up, you're on the way. - You never know which message is going to be the one that changes things. Truly, the worst someone can say is no. But the best? The possibilities are endless. P.S. Wish I could've posted more during the trip but it was all over the place! I'll definitely be filling in some of the gaps over the next few days. Appreciate you guys!

BOZE (Part 1) Most spontaneous thing I’ve ever done
Yesterday 11:11 am: “Do you know any videographers” Today 2:30 am: Alarm goes off to head to the airport. In less than 5 hours I went from having maybe met this guy one time in person at church, to him inviting me to help him out with a shoot in Bozeman, MT. (Don’t worry, I’m not doing the videography 😅) I’ve been praying a lot about my wife and I’s future, and I think God is answering. I’ll post updates to check in with how it’s going! It’s just for the weekend, but I think it might just have the possibility to change the course of my life. Hope that doesn’t sound dramatic. I’ve never done anything like this. P.S. God is good :D
