But ever since I started my online business, my spending has surprisingly increased now it’s up to about $4,800 weekly. I’ve been working with Gabe and Laura 🤑 for almost a year now and this is probably one of the biggest wins. I’ve had so far before 2024. I had made a list of places I wanted to travel to because it is a passion of mine and then I set the list aside and just paid attention to my day-to-day routine. By the end of January an opportunity presented itself for me to travel to Costa Rica in April and I was hesitant at first but when I sat down with Laura 🤑 to go over the budget plans, I realized I had put Costa Rica on my list for 2024 so it made the decision very easy to say yes ! I just got back from my seven day self-love retreat from Costa Rica and I am so freaking happy I was able to go. The memories are priceless. The friendships are blessings. All because I was able to understand where my priorities lie with my financial responsibilities and I was able to take action accordingly. Thank you, Gabe and Laura … Y’all are my favorite 🙌🏽🔥🫶🏽💪🏽

I spend the last hour updating our budget from May, I was very behind as we have had a fairly chaotic month! I like to catch up on transactions every week but it has been wild times over here. As I was reviewing one of our credit cards, I was like... 🤨 Why do I have so many charged for $5.99 happening?! Realized I had subscribed to an app to help me clean all the excess photos on my phone... which was supposed to help us SAVE money because I did not want to level up my Apple iCloud storage. I guess at some point over the last couple of months, I caved on the apple storage and never cancelled this subscription. And after further review, we have been charged 10 times total for this subscription that I was not using and spent $77.87 over the course of the last 3 months. 😭 Maybe 77.87 doesn't seem like a lot.... BUT if we had invested the $77.87 and then continued to contribute $5.99/week or $23/month. This is what would happen to our money in 5 years and in 10 years! Key Take Aways: 1️⃣ Check your subscriptions regularly, life gets busy we forget and we spend money on stuff we don't need 2️⃣ Don't underestimate the little money you might feel like you have to invest. It pays off to be consistent regardless of how much you invest. 3️⃣ Even the "experts" get caught up in the everyday chaos of life, the important thing is to course correct and get back on track. I'm still chalking this up as a 🏆WIN, because it has turned into a great teaching point!
