You Can Heal Your Life
The book includes the following statement, which has really resonated with me: ‘Our breath is the most precious substance in our lives, and yet we totally take for granted when we exhale that our next breath will be there…. Now if the Power that created us has given us enough breath to last as long as we shall live, can we not trust that everything else we need will also be supplied?’ I have finished the book, it has been a great read, thanks Kirt!
You Can Heal Your Life
This book presents some interesting and useful ideas: ‘Impatience is only another form of resistance.’ I should get this one tattooed on the back of my hand! ‘Love Your Bills’, offered on the basis that bills are an acknowledgment of our ability to pay, and that if you pay with love and joy, you open the free flowing channel of abundance. I like and appreciate this idea, but it is something I will need to work on! I hope you all are enjoying this book too!
Why does book promotion feel harder than writing the actual book?
One thing nobody prepared me for as an author was how emotionally draining promotion can feel after publishing. You finally put your work out there… and then you’re refreshing pages hoping people even see it. No reviews. Low visibility. Algorithms doing whatever they want. Meanwhile you KNOW the book deserves readers. I genuinely thought writing the book was the hard part. Turns out getting consistent attention on it is a completely different skill. What’s interesting is once I started approaching promotion differently, I noticed a huge shift in engagement and discoverability. Now I understand why some books quietly disappear while others keep gaining traction months later. Any other authors here relate to this? What’s been your biggest frustration after publishing?

Most writers don’t struggle because they lack talent; they struggle because they underestimate the process. Writing development isn’t about doing more writing; it’s about writing with intention. It’s learning how to take a simple idea and shape it into something meaningful, how to structure your thoughts so they flow naturally, and how to move from “this sounds okay” to “this truly connects.” Your first draft is not your final voice. Your real voice is uncovered in the rewriting. Every edit sharpens your clarity, strengthens your message, and deepens your impact. If you want to grow, start asking: Is this clear? Is this necessary? Does this carry weight? Strong writing is built, not rushed. Keep refining. Your growth is in the revision.
