following a post in her wonderful group about how our nervous systems need regular down time. I myself can work and apply myself to the to-dos until my brain is buzzing, but I take *me time* every single afternoon. My favourite thing to do is to grab a book and sit in a quiet corner of my front porch for at least an hour, more if I can get away with it. I live on a busy road but I can still enjoy watching the birds in the grass and in the trees, sip on a drink and breathe (somewhat) fresh air. I've been complaining about the cold here in Southern Ontario. It's definitely wintry! Yesterday I decided to pull out an ancient snow suit so I could stay warm and toasty in my nook. I looked like a big neon blimp😆. But it was perfect!
