Something I want every Spark-ED member who's avoiding an uncomfortable ask to hear.
I once emailed a professor and asked her to open my assignments early so I could finish them before a conference. Asking felt embarrassing, like I was requesting special treatment.
I sent the email anyway. She said yes. I finished the work before I left, no scramble, no missed deadline.
The lesson wasn't about the assignments. It was this. Sometimes all you need to do is just ask.
