The Mystic's Prayer Path: Prayer, Meditation, Intuitive Journaling, Mystic experiences 🙏🌹 I've been doing some research into other traditions that may suggest a similar pathway through the body - which is to start in the head and attune to the Divine before descending into the body, and then returning once the chakras have been opened, tuned and made resonant with the ideas in the Prayer. This is what I've found so far! ✨ 💫Indian Śaiva traditions: Divine power or grace understood as descending 💫Pseudo-Dionysian Christianity: Divine illumination, procession and return 💫Hesychasm: Prayer, stillness and attentive movement towards the heart 💫Kabbalah: Emanation from higher to lower levels 💫Hermeticism: Descent into embodied existence and subsequent ascent These are comparative parallels, and not proven sources of Cayce's precise sequence, but I still find it very interesting! The Rosicrucian connection also deserves a little attention, as the research identified the book 'The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception' by Max Heindel written in 1909. It discusses the Lord's Prayer, pituitary and pineal bodies, and spiritualised sexual currents within the same chapter (not surprised @Julie Humphreys 🤗) It all seems to flow back to Ancient Egypt and Atlantean times. Would love to get my hands on that book 🤣 Meanwhile, here is an image that Marycris helped me create 🌹You can see that in Cayce's path the Brow is associated with the Pituitary, the colour Violet and is the highest centre, as the energy comes up and across the head like a Cobra rising, before the pineal and pituitary fire together. Sharing some notes from a dream I just found, written in early March this year. "I had a vision of a pipe flowing with water, and then something became lodged and started to block the flow. Then other manifesting forms started to entangle themselves in it - clumping." I understood that this is the ruminating mind. Then came the insight that rumination and manifestation are the same energetically — but have different polarities! If you want to manifest - or bring something new into your life - you need to let go of the old. ✨ The dream continued with a shorthand version of The Mystic's Prayer pathway through the body. It began with the movement through Solar, Navel and Heart, then showed a creative process: Brow: Visioned IN — what do I want to bring into being? Throat: Express it. Write it down! Root: Plant the seeds. Give the vision form and firm it up! Solar: The daily work of letting go — clearing and cleaning the Temple. Navel: Creative energy begins to flow. Heart: Bring it to life with Love, joy and excitement. Throat → Crown → Brow: The return. Visioned OUT. I offer and I have received so that I can offer again. And here we are, back at Conscious Participation. 🤗 We can become aware of what is clumping in our minds, recognise the stories we're repeatedly feeding, and begin to work with them differently. From a psychological perspective, this may involve recognising rumination, making space for difficult feelings and choosing actions that reflect what matters to us. From the spiritual perspective offered in my dream, it is also a question of what we are planting, nourishing and ultimately offering to the world. Not simply what we wish to manifest in our individual lives, but what we contribute through the way we live. And perhaps this is where Conscious Participation and Unconscious Participation begin to reveal themselves. We are participating either way, however what changes when we bring awareness and intention to that participation? Spirit asks the questions and guides the path.

This morning I did something different. I changed the words of the Prayer to reflect the experience of meditating 'the heart of the ideas or concepts' seeded in the words. What came out of it was Love's Prayer. And it was beautiful. Resonant with the energy of Heaven. Which was adored and loved in return. Then the energy was then tenderly carried through the body, so that it could emerge once more at the throat centre, fully realised in flesh. The Prayer was offered to me in my dreams 40 years ago as a path of healing and protection. It's wafted around in my life since that time, however not fully embraced. Not until I undertook this practice at the direction of one of my Guides, which became more understood throughout the journey. More understood and more recognised. Recognition leads to resonance and greater attunement. Resonance and greater attunement leads to more awareness and recognition. The shift in words deepened the recognition and attunement. For months and years I have said the lines and felt deeply into their meaning - in the Chakra centre it opened. I've been calling it the Mystic's Prayer as it is an embodied, imaginal and participatory mystical practice. The word Mystic comes through Greek mystikos, meaning something connected with mysteries or initiation. Its deeper linguistic family carries the sense of entering what is hidden or sacred—not merely acquiring secret information, but being initiated into a reality that has to be encountered. A mystic is a person who seeks—or comes to know—the Divine through direct, inward and transformative encounter, rather than through belief, doctrine or intellectual understanding alone. So this is a mystical experience, particularly when entered, rather than simply recited. And the change in words may help some to enter it more easily. The Lord’s Prayer gives us the words. The Mystic’s Prayer (or path) is how you enter them. Love’s Prayer is what I discovered living inside them. If this is something you would find easier to approach rather than using words that were more relevant 2000 years ago, check into the Classroom from time to time, as I intend to create a version of both as Guided Meditations.

Perhaps originality, in sacred work, is not creating a truth that has never existed. It is allowing an eternal truth to become newly alive—here, now, through a particular human life. 🌷Your particular human life 🤗 This is the realised path of Higher Love 🌷💜

Sharing takes courage - and yet, when things are stripped away - then releasing ego seems easier 🥰 The whole idea of Higher Love came out of this meditation practice. I was 'told' to practice The Lord's Prayer as a meditation through the Chakras (or Spiritual Centres) as taught by Edgar Cayce 100 years ago - and then journal it. For 90 days. Sounds easy, but it took a bit longer than that to get to 90! (I'm glad they didn't say 90 consecutive days 😂) The unique thing here is that Cayce taught that we are to start in the Higher Centres - the Brow and the Crown, before taking this energy down to the base and working back up again. This is to spiritualise the centres - and achieve an embodied and lived spirituality - not one where we simply reach for the stars. We gather, and then descend 🌠 Some entries are over 3 pages - some not even 1/2 a page. I'm sharing this one today as forgiveness came up with a client - and fortunately she is a very 'spiritually minded' one, so these kind of discussions are easy to have. Also fortunately, she told me that it really resonated - and for that I'm grateful. The Divine within feels the healing, the releasing, the relaxing - the collapsing (of energies) It is so easy to let go - only the Ego hangs on Easier to be peaceful Easier to be grateful Realise this as well!! God feels the injury too…not once - but twice!!!!!!! S/He feels your pain and my pain.
