I was reading something this morning that stated quite confidently that 'nobody enters the world with anxieties'. What are your thoughts on this? For me, I can say that... I did. I came in with my anxiety. All of the things mentioned here can be taught, or can be a part of our individual differences. They can also be a 'personality residue' from a previous life experience. If we 'died' with these feelings still within our hearts and minds, then they manifest in the next body (or, when our soul feels the opportunity is right), so that we can continue the healing. This is very prominant in Edgar Cayce's readings as well. As a psychologist I am certainly aware of toxic or unhealthy/unhelpful mindsets being impressed upon us when we are young. At home, at school, at Uni, in our relationships etc etc. I have also read about Ancenstral Trauma. And from a neuroscience perspective, it could be genes or beliefs. It could be any or all of it, however our Soul histories should not be discounted. So how do you know?? And... is it important to know? And, is 'important' as important as helpful?? 🤭 From a psychological perspective it CAN BE useful, however it's more important to look at 'NOW'. Where are you now? How do think now? How do you feel now? What do you believe... NOW. And is it helping you live a full and happy life, whatever your circumstances. Then we vision. If not this, then what? What inspires me? What lights me up inside? There is so much offered (or pushed) toward us in regard to manifesting at this time. Nothing wrong with it. Manifesting is real, we do it every day, we always have. What they offer now is how to do it with intention, amplify with attention (especially quiet attention), and live as if it is real in your life. From a Soul perspective though, I suggest that it is better to do it from a place of intrinsic motivation, rather than extrinsic. Intrinsic = Growth (Personal + Soul via Love and Joy) Extrinsic = Ego They can be combined, however even psychological research shows that those who persue extrinsically motivated goals (only), will be the ones to experience anxiety, depression and feelings of unfulfillment when they are in their late 40's - 60's (I'll check those ages - it's been a minute!) 😅
