7 day connection experiment
Day 1: Name Your Breadcrumb Goal: Define what connection might look like for you. Do this: Finish the sentence 3 ways: “I feel most connected when ___.” Examples: “I’m in the garden,” “My dog rests his head on me,” “I hear that one song.” Why: few found connection to ‘something bigger’ is essential, but it’s personal. You need your definition before you search. Day 2: The Awe Walk Goal: Tap “bigger than self” connection. Do this: Walk 10 min outside. No phone, no podcast. Look for 1 thing that makes you go “huh” — cloud, tree bark, ant carrying a leaf. Why: 45% of Americans have had a “sudden feeling of connection with something beyond this world,” often in nature. Awe is the shortcut. Day 3: Say Hi to Someone You Miss Goal: Loved-ones connection without a medium. Do this: Out loud or in writing: “Hey ___, if you can hear me, today I ___.” Then tell them 1 thing about your day. Why: “You don’t need a medium to connect.” Grief researchers + spiritual folks agree: speaking to them helps. Notice if you feel a shift after. Day 4: Ask + Release Goal: Practice “asking” without demanding answers. Do this: Morning: “If there’s guidance for me today, I’m open to it.” Then drop it. Live your day. Why: Spirit guides “cannot intervene without a clear request,” but desperation blocks reception. This is asking, then getting out of the way. Day 5: Synchronicity Sweep Goal: Train attention. Do this: All day, notice repeats: numbers, songs, animals, phrases. At night write 1-2 down. Don’t force meaning. Why: “Then I saw 444” is a meme because it’s real. Connection often speaks in patterns, but you only see them if you look. Day 6: The True-Self Check Goal: Connection to self. Do this: 2 minutes, hand on heart. Ask: “What am I feeling that I haven’t admitted yet?” Name it. Mad, scared, numb — all valid. Why: “Then I cried for 6 months straight” is part of it. You can’t connect to bigger/deeper if you’re bypassing what’s true right now. Day 7: Review Your Data Goal: Integrate, don’t judge.

Do you feel like your standing at a stand still?
Took this on my walk in Fredericksburg this morning. Watching the sun come up through these oaks taught me something about Spirit that took me 59 years to learn: The light doesn't hit everything at once. First, just the tops of the tallest trees glow. Then it slowly, slowly makes its way down the branches. The ground is the last to get warm. For years I thought spiritual growth meant a lightning-bolt moment. Total clarity. Instant peace. All at once. But Spirit works like a Hill Country sunrise. It illuminates the highest parts of you first — your intuition, your hopes. Then it works its way down into the messy, everyday branches. And the ground you stand on, your real life? That’s often the last thing to shift. So if you’re in a season where it feels like “nothing’s happening”… check the treetops. Journal prompt for you: Where in your life is the light already touching, even if the ground still feels dark? I’d love to hear what comes up for you below
10 minute meditation
The 10-Minute "Clear the Channel" Sit Use this for a daily intuition tune-up 1. Settle: Sit comfortably. 3 deep breaths — in through nose, out through mouth like a sigh. 2. Label the noise: Spend 1 min noticing thoughts. For each one, mentally say "thinking" and let it pass. You're not emptying your mind, you're turning down the volume. 3. Drop the question: Ask yourself, "What do I need to know today?" Then stop. Don't hunt for answers. 4. Listen to sensations: Scan from head to toe. Intuition often speaks as a pull, an image, a single word, or a knowing. It’s quieter than anxiety. Anxiety rushes and loops. Intuition is calm and repeats if needed. 5. Close with trust: Place hand on heart. Say: "I trust the wisdom that arises in me."
