Can physical trauma affect chakras?

Hi all, i was wondering if anybody could help me with a question about chakras?

I was involved in a very serious car accident that left me with shattered pelvis, damaged lumbar spine and other injuries. My question is whether those injuries would have affected my sacral and root chakras at all and if there is a way for me to help heal them?
