What is your favorite vocational/blue collar job?

I write this for our friend

My little story:

I was a pool boy in my 20's (I'll have to dig out some photos) and made a killing living in the Palm Springs, CA area. Bought a house next to the golf club. New cars. All our friends were YUPPIES (IYKYK) and the kids in private schools. Vocational work is incredibly profitable and ultimately satisfying.... Just saying.
