Creating a solidworks editable model

Hi, can anyone help, I need to be able to edit this model in solidworks, all I want to really do is thicken it by about 10mm

I have the file as a step and also an stl, but when I try do anything it’s all in facets and each one becomes a surface.

I managed to offset the front and back faces 5mm each but then I couldn’t figure out how to join them

I’ve included the file for reference.

I’d like to basically clean it up, smoothen it and ideally the faces to be singular surfaces so when I 3D print its a nice finish
