Warm Introduction
Hi guys, I hope you’re all excellent. I’ve owned a small window cleaning business for the last 20 years in Perth, Western Australia and added solar cleaning a few years back. Looking to learn as much as possible from the solar panel cleaning experts around the globe and to give back value wherever I can in return. Look forward to connecting. Many thanks.
Any beginner recomendations appreciated
Hello everyone, I own an electrical contracting company in Colorado, and we’re evaluating the addition of solar panel cleaning as a service offering. While we have experience with electrical work and some solar installations, we’re approaching the cleaning side of the industry with the mindset of learning from those who have already built successful operations. For those who have been in the business for a few years, what are the biggest lessons you’ve learned? What do most newcomers underestimate? Are there common mistakes related to equipment selection, safety procedures, water treatment, pricing, liability, or customer education that you wish someone had warned you about earlier? I’m interested in building this service the right way from the start and would appreciate any insights the group is willing to share. Thank you for your time.
Hey fellow Solar Cleaners - I'm New Here
Hi everyone, I'm new to this community and new to solar cleaning so wish me luck. Up till now I've been selling solar to both residential & commercial clients and everyone asks do we have to clean the panels and how often. I know that many sales people will avoid this topic - claiming that they're self cleaning or that the rain will clean them !!! Pure Crap !!! So I want to take advantage of this lack of understanding.
Not a cleaning guy but a cleaning user
Călin here. Born Romanian, educated in France, living in The Netherlands. Since 2020 I work in O&M and Technical Asset Management of Utility and C&I. This means that I contract cleaning, I recommend cleaning policy and I also study it's impact. My limitation is how little I understand about what it takes to clean. Types of soiling, adapted cleaning techniques and also the logistics of cleaning. I am here to learn to make better decisions about cleaning. Cheers
