Hello everyone,
I own an electrical contracting company in Colorado, and we’re evaluating the addition of solar panel cleaning as a service offering. While we have experience with electrical work and some solar installations, we’re approaching the cleaning side of the industry with the mindset of learning from those who have already built successful operations.
For those who have been in the business for a few years, what are the biggest lessons you’ve learned? What do most newcomers underestimate? Are there common mistakes related to equipment selection, safety procedures, water treatment, pricing, liability, or customer education that you wish someone had warned you about earlier?
I’m interested in building this service the right way from the start and would appreciate any insights the group is willing to share.
Thank you for your time.
