My concept of Suit
Hello In one of posts about Peaky Blinders, in comments I mentioned about my project of dark grey suit, created on suitsupply site, because of using tropic wool, costs are not that high. The only thing I changed is color of lining of jacket from gray to black. Instead of projecting shirt (which is not mentioned in creating custom suit) I'll buy one from a national company, where I ordered my pincollar shirt.

Tweedgasm Tuesday
In the low 40s this morning in Wisconsin. I've been itching to haul out the tweed. Herringbone Harris Tweed jacket and a Robert Talbott English print ancient madder tie, Brooks Brothers pocket square, my grandfather's Kennegal Tweed overcoat from tje early 1950s . Most importantly, our beloved Society lapel pin. Tweedgasm Tuesday

Monumental tailoring done!
Most sane people would not recommend doing this: I have a bespoke Italian suit with Holland & Sherry cloth with a Sable and Cashmere blend that is so beautiful and luxurious with first rate draping. It was made when I was bigger but then I grew bigger still and couldn't wear it. I could never part with it. Then I lost weight and am now a size 44R. The suit coat was a 50R. I had it re-tailored at no small expense as this was a $4000 suit when it was made. The shoulders were narrowed and the rest of the garmet altered to fit. Pants were easy, Jacket was not. However after nearly 4 months I have it back and it is perfect. I am so excited to be able to wear this again. I will post better photos sometime soon.
