Mr. Mayor Bailey, how do you wear your ascot?

I notice in some of your most recent OOTD posts you are adorning an ascot. In my experience, I notice my ascot rides up my neck above the shirt collar line. I've tried tightening it but it works a bit then resumes sliding.

Do you apply a particular kind of knot?

Thank you for your response, sir. I am looking to make my ascot more practical in daily wear. Bravo again by the way on your "best dress" award...an ascot will do it.
