đŸŒ± MONDAY — Capacity Over Willpower
Most productivity advice assumes one thing:
That if you’re not consistent, you’re not trying hard enough.
For ADHD brains, that’s not true.
Inconsistency isn’t a motivation problem.
It’s a capacity problem.
When your nervous system feels under pressure, unsafe, or overloaded, your brain will:
– Resist
– Shut down
– Avoid
– Or wait for adrenaline to kick in
That’s not laziness.
That’s self-protection.
Real productivity doesn’t come from pushing harder.
It comes from creating enough internal safety to stay online.
This week, don’t ask:
“How do I force myself to do more?”
Ask:
“What would increase my capacity to show up calmly and consistently?”
That’s where sustainable momentum begins.
