Dear Heavenly Father, my most sovereign and Holy God, creator and keeper of all Creation, including your Promises. I come to You tonight with a fertile and humble heart, open to Your wisdom and guidance ‘O Lord; as I endeavor to be Your servant, a mere mortal devoted to Your Will. I ask that the POWER of Your Truth and Grace pervade Eddie's life like the Freedom of the gift of Salvation. 🎉 That the lessons Eddie learns each day through studying Your WORD, truly and promptly become part of his personal tapestry; as Your WORD weaves a strong and durable fabric which surrounds him with Your Love. Dear Lord, please listen to my humbly offered prayers this week; may the Holy Spirit bring Grace and Support for Eddie when You know he is in need. I ask that You be with all precious warfighters and frontline responders who sacrifice daily, that Eddie and I may have the Freedom to Worship you, Dear God. I ask Special Blessings and I add my strong preference for: a) Eddie's forgiveness b) Eddie's fellowship c) Eddie's favor for all of his whole hearted visions, passions, and dreams In the Holy Name of Your Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit who is in me, I Pray. I apologize for delaying this notification in May. A major health issue popped up and seems to be consuming my life until after surgery. Hope to be with you all again around the second week of June

I host a private Facebook group where people of Faith share crafted prayer, songs, poems, and other heartfelt words and images that are gently intended to support others through a troubled season. During a very brutal season, I learned that I live by hours and minutes not by days and that every day has at least one uplifting hour or pleasurable hour or funny hour or encouraging hour. 🤔 I learned to release the phrase "bad day" from my vocabulary .... there were just some days that had many hours of crushing weight and tears. I learned a great deal about how God feels in those hours. I learned to set boundaries on disabling feelings; and when they started demanding too much of my time, I made them calendar an appointment. Often, I invited my very excellent counselor. She listens with her heart ❤️, reminds me to be extra kind to my body, sees humor in hopeless situations, and reminds me to stay curious and to find the Divine Gem 💎 that is always 🎁 present. I hope most of this is helpful when this Season arrives for you. Your helpful responses are most wecome ....

Friday the 13th.. perfect 😔 Tomorrow is the second anniversary of the MURDER of my bonus son Nevada Krinkee, 2 Tour Afghan Veteran and Peace Officer in Sheridan Wyoming. Nevada was shot in the head by a young, panicked father of three, who was out of his mind on meth. Sheridan Wyoming is the last place someone would get shot in the head... in fact Nevada's mother and myself, we're thrilled that our married Adult Cop Kids chose this lovely little community to build their careers in... Which they did rapidly and tremendously well.... because it's SAFE. It's one of those little Wyoming towns where it's not uncommon for people to leave their cars unlocked to go shopping downtown. It is a wealth of artists and educators, ranchers and growers and sturdy people who love to play outside. Nevada is the first peace officer in Wyoming history to be murdered on duty. His loss to my daughter is unfathomable. Karla lost a partner, a husband, a smitten co~parent of their new baby girl, her best friend. Every dream ... turned to dust. Her beloved sister Donna is also a first responder; and her husband Aaron was recruited by and worked with Nevada for SPD. Nevada's death at 33 years of age, became a regional celebrity event which fulfilled, ironically, a special dream of Nevada's to reach people with his Faith. He and Karla and baby Bella loved their church of many First Responders, and they also hosted a Bible study for a few SPD friends. The family were rarely without their spunky pup Charlie, the first narcotics Canine Officer, trained by Karla for SPD. At the time of Nevada's death the couple had 4 beloved pet dogs and Charlie, newly Retired d SPD Officer of ten years. Charlie and the dogs are bewildered and lost without their favorite human. Some we're rehomed temporarily shortly after this brutal event. I can't even begin to tell you how Nevada's mother Sally and his sister and best lady at his 4th of July wedding, have managed to endure. Her son enjoyed only 3 years of a magical marriage.
