Thoughts on being pinned on Skoolers
I was stoked to be pinned on Skoolers a few days ago. It’s probably the closest thing I’ve come to “going viral” without being on social media 😜
I thought I’d share the result with you all!
✔️ Some beautiful new members joined (about 12)
✔️ The conversations already felt aligned
✔️ Women arrived having read the vibe of the room
And also:
❌ I declined A LOT of people, mostly men or people who weren’t the right fit for this space at all.
And that part felt just as important.
Because visibility isn’t about letting everyone in.
It’s about letting the right people in.
What stood out to me most wasn’t the spike - it was the filter. Clear positioning does the heavy lifting before someone ever joins. It repels as much as it attracts - and that’s a good thing.
So if you ever see someone get pinned and think
“Is that actually worth it?” For me, the answer is yes - when your about page is clear and your room is intentional.
Quality over quantity.
Always.
Curious - when you think about your own visibility…
where have your most aligned people found you?
