Sunday Nugget: "The Great Staring Contest."
Have you ever been eating a snack or a sandwich and suddenly felt like you were being watched?
You look up and there sits your dog or cat staring.
Not blinking.
Not moving.
Just silently judging every bite you take.
Here's the funny part: your dog or cat isn't necessarily hungry. Sometimes they're simply gathering information. Animals are masters at reading human behavior and routines.

In other words, they're not begging.
