Writers - Finish that Manuscript!
Have you started a novel or a memoir and it’s just lingering, you don’t know what to do with it? Or have you finished a first draft and are ready to do a close edit and send it out? Needing help? Well, creativity thrives in community, right? And I host a small intimate cohort of writers and creators on Skool. Here’s what a couple of members wrote recently in the chat there. KIM “Thanks, Sarah! Helpful comments. That will speed the revision a lot to know where to focus, where to trim. I tend to leave out important things--on the first draft, at least!” TREY “The concept of seasons and their relationship to creativity is something I’ve never thought about before. Upon reflection, fall seems to be when I dig into writing the most. It’ll be interesting to pay attention to this relationship between seasons and creativity.” So I’m writing this today to show you that you can finish your project and on your own terms. Let’s develop and hone your individual voice and style, build characters and landscapes, play with tension and release, add elements and expand your vocabulary (not just the words but the craft and skills), and consider the range of options for structure within novels and hybrid memoirs. In this writing and creativity group, I post questions and assignments to spark your curiousity about what you do and why. They build upon each other or you can drop in and out - which is what most members do. There you go, I hope it helps! https://www.skool.com/explore-create-share-8023

Writers - Finish that Manuscript!
Nobody wants to hear this but I'm going to say it anyway 😉
If you've been posting consistently on social media for months and your sales are still unpredictable, it’s probably because posting more is not the answer. Just so you know, your content is fine and you don’t suck at it. Your offer is probably fine. The problem is that your product is getting shown to the same 200 people over and over and most of them already decided if they're buying or not. Meta Ads fix this. They take your thing and put it in front of people who have never seen you before and actually are likely to buy it every single day, without you having to do anything new. That's it. That's the whole unlock. 🔓 The Ads Corner is where digital product sellers and Skool community owners learn to run simple Meta ads from scratch. 250+ members in a month. (Because of ads! 😉) Come check it out 👇 https://www.skool.com/the-ads-corner/about

The secret to growth isn't really a secret....
For an embarrassingly long time I thought the people making consistent sales just had better content than me. Their reels were so good. The ideas, the hooks, the lighting. I was literally taking notes on other people's captions trying to reverse engineer whatever it was they had that I didn't. Meanwhile every guru I followed was telling me that running ads would wreck my organic reach and make everything harder. So I kept posting. And studying. And posting some more. Then I found out a lot of those people were just running ads. Not because their content was so amazing. Not because they had some secret strategy I couldn't figure out. They were just paying to put their stuff in front of the right people. I could have cried. Honestly maybe I did a little. But then I got OBSESSED with learning about Meta ads and how to make them work for me. I stopped taking notes on other people's captions and started figuring out ads instead. And for the first time my products were reaching people who actually wanted them, without me having to come up with a single viral idea. The Ads Corner is where digital product sellers and Skool community owners learn to do exactly that. Simple Meta ads from scratch, no experience needed, no huge budget required, and no — it will not wreck your organic reach. I promise. 240+ members in a month. Yep, thanks to Meta ads!
