How not to Contact People on Linkedin
In this forum there is so much valuable info about how to do things right on LinkedIn. I just want to put a counter example, of how bad it is out there. I get this kind of message 3x a day.
Comments below, reflecting my first thought when I read the sentence.

Hi Gert,
I hope you’re doing wonderfully! It’s a pleasure to connect with you!
[You dont know me, we connected 10 minutes ago, how can it be a pleasure?]
I’m reaching out from 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐯𝐭. 𝐋𝐭𝐝.., where we specialize in turning innovative ideas into reality. Whether you’re looking to develop a cutting-edge mobile app, a responsive web platform, or a custom digital solution, our 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 is here to help.
[Translation: We do everything and nothing. I have no clue what they are good at. I assume, as long as I have money, they are happy. But I have specific problems right here and now, I don't need generic-generic]
With a proven track record of delivering exceptional results across industries, we pride ourselves on:
[Where is the evidence? Says who?]
=> 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐎𝐒.
[Like all other companies that reach out to me. Would anyone ever say the opposite? if no, then this has no value]
=> 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐞𝐛 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬.
[Like all other companies that reach out to me. Would anyone ever say the opposite? If no, then this has no value]
=> 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬.
[hmm... here there is something specific, but none of them tick a box with me. ]
𝐍𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, we’re 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 about helping businesses unlock their potential through technology.
[generic-generic. We can do whatever, for whoever, whenever, as long as you pay]
I’d love to schedule a quick call to discuss how we can 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝.
[Nope, not interested, remove from connections]
