I love this word for the 2nd week of Empowerment because it reminds us that power does not always mean becoming fearless, loud, certain, or completely healed. Sometimes taking your power back can just mean recognising yourself again. Noticing where you gave too much of yourself away (maybe for good reasons too). Where you stopped trusting your own voice or perhaps where you made yourself smaller to feel safer. For this week’s empowerment theme, I’m thinking of hygge as the feeling of becoming a safe place for yourself. This week, we are exploring Gratitude - Finding Plenty in the Present and when I thought of that I thought of taking the idea beginning with us. I wanted to include this little promise from me to you. Today, we begin with a small vow. Place one hand on your heart. Take one slow breath.
