How Do You Balance Safety & Engagement in AI for Kids?
A few weeks ago, I made my nephew a personalized Super Mario Brothers chatbot for his 9th birthday using Claude Code. Since he's only 9, I put a ton of security around it and only included info his parents approved - like his first name, sports he plays, and favorite topics. He loved it initially and would rush to use it after homework, which felt amazing. But he said it just says the same stuff over and over again. I think I made it too strict trying to keep him safe. Now I'm trying to find the right balance. I left it open so he can explore learning topics, so maybe I'll suggest he ask Mario for help with math since he's struggling with that in third grade. He could really use a companion to work through these things with. Has anyone else built something like this for a kid? How do you find the perfect balance between safety and keeping it engaging? I'd rather err on the side of too strict, but I want him to actually enjoy using it.

Vibe Coding with a Mission in 2026
Can I vibe-code my way into building smarter health solutions? Honestly… after 20 years in BioTech and MedTech, here’s what I’ve learned: Innovation isn’t only about the technology. It's about imagination, courage, and the willingness to rethink what’s possible. BioTech taught me rigor.MedTech gave me purpose. And AI?AI is giving me an entirely new toolkit to build the future of healthcare — clearer, faster, and more intelligent than ever before. I’m creating solutions that don’t just react… they anticipate solutions that give people clarity instead of fear. Solutions that merge human intuition with machine precision. This journey is just beginning, and I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned into this next chapter. #WomenInTech #AIMedTech #FutureOfHealthcare #AIIntegrated #HealthInnovation #MedTechLife

I’ve been working to create women with softly rounded, natural curves in MidJourney, using the new 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿. Even with a clear prompt, the early iterations kept giving me thin, athletic bodies, one accurate result per grid at best. The shift happened through strict curation. Each Style Creator iteration produces four images. I began liking only the ones that truly reflected the body type I wanted and skipping everything else. No “almost,” no compromises, just a clean signal. Around iteration 13, the model started to adjust. By 20–25, three or four images per grid matched the intention. Iterations 30–35 were the strongest and most consistent. By iteration 40, the accuracy drifted again - sometimes back to one correct figure, sometimes none. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗽: When you do get an accurate image, you can 𝘂𝗽𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 and start building a focused mood board. This mood board isn’t used inside Style Creator; it becomes your visual foundation when generating new images in the Create panel. A clean, intentional mood board helps anchor the aesthetic and supports more consistent results later. Below are five images showing the progression for anyone exploring authentic body diversity in MidJourney (𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗗) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱: “A softly rounded, plump woman standing in gentle natural light; realistic proportions, elegant posture, warm and expressive eyes, quiet confidence. Her beauty comes through presence and authenticity. She wears layered fabrics that move subtly in the air: matte linen, soft brushed cotton, textured wool crepe, airy chiffon panels, and a hint of silk satin at the collar catching the light. Each material has distinct texture: linen with visible weave, cotton with smooth softness, wool crepe with fine grain, chiffon translucent and light, satin reflective and fluid. No exaggeration of features; natural face, natural curves. Clean background, detailed fashion lighting, true-to-life skin texture, subtle shadows, realistic color gradients.
