One of my medspa clients told me they’re not getting booked enough. Within 20 seconds of exploring their website, I found out why!
Rather than prominently displaying a “Book Now” button anywhere on their page, the only way clients could request an appointment was by filling out the (almost hidden) “Contact Us” form at the bottom or calling the number embedded in the footer.
Many people will pass on a business that makes them pick up a phone to book or buy (yes, it’s sad, even though I fit into this group myself). Make it as easy as possible for people to work with you!
On your website, put the primary action you want your clients to take (referred to as your Call To Action, or CTA) in the upper right hand corner in your header, in the main first image/section at the top of your homepage (called your hero section), and sprinkled throughout the rest of your page.
Other buttons are tempting to put in these prime spots, like “About Us” or “Our Services”, but you risk getting your website visitors distracted, and then hopping off before they take the action you ACTUALLY wanted them to take!
